The Data Science & Intelligent Systems (DSIS) research group led by Professor Elena Demidova is looking for:

Student Assistants

to support our research activities in Machine Learning and Spatio-Temporal Data Analytics.

The University of Bonn is a university of excellence and one of the leading universities in Germany. 

The DSIS research group conducts research in spatio-temporal data analytics, machine learning, knowledge graphs, and various application areas, including mobility, security, and neuroscience. Furthermore, we address the usability, explainability, and traceability of data analysis.

Your profile:

• Enrollment as a student in Computer Science or a related area 
• Keen interest in research
• Programming skills
• Successfully completed courses in some of relevant areas (machine learning, knowledge graphs, data analytics, information retrieval)
• Good communication and team skills
• Practical experience with current machine learning methods and libraries is a plus
